A question that haunts many Armenians, as Yerevan strives to sign a peace treaty before the COP29 summit, Aliyev has reportedly been keeping the Azerbaijan army on high alert, incase of any attacks, which is likely what they will use to further provoke the situation.

Azerbaijan has recently announced the defense budget increase of about $1.5 billion USD since last year- a remarkable budget increase to almost $5 billion USD for 2025.

Such numbers were reported in their 2025 outlook handbook, much of which can be found online.
